We have freezing fog with temperature of 18 °F...I love pictures taken in this kind of lighting. The sled is really bigger than it looks on this picture and I am pretending to be a kid again when I used to go sliding a lot.
I decided to put this SP in a theme for where I am at in this stage of my life. Not young nor am I too old to enjoy the beauty of nature given by our creator in heaven...

Waving back at you, Andrea. Nice portrait, but where is koki?

Thank you all so much for your comments...Koki didn't go outside until after my practice shots were over with, El Go. It would have been nice if she got on the picture too...No I didn't go sliding afterwards, Leslie ...We left to go shopping right after I got done.

Pssst, Andrea! There is an angel standing behind you. This is so ethereal. I love your allusion to your childhood. Great shot.

Great shot Andrea! For a moment, I thought you were flying down the hill on that sled!

Another great take, Andrea!! We have an antique sled my mom painted for Christmas display... ruined it's antique value; but it look gorgeous; and your shot makes me think we should shoot my wife on/near it in the snow! Love the foggy background!!

Andrea Petersen said (25 Jan 2009):

Oh thank you Rob...I actually did paint a design on this old sled too several years ago but you don't see it on this picture....I may do another self-timer showing the rose malling design that I painted from a pattern. I'll bet your Mom was a professional artist. I would love to see your wife on the sled your Mom painted...

I really like this photo with the fog behind you in the background! It has feeling of mystery in nature surrounding you. You did a good job in getting this photo to show up like it did! From your sister Bonnie in Colorado on the Eastern plains.
