The other night the power went out and as I stumbled my way about the house, with only my little torch to light my way, I heard a quiet rustle. Something small was scurrying across the floor, and it was near.
'Guinness'! I called out, 'there's a mouse'! The scurrying suddenly stopped.
I heard my cat running down the stairs and at once the scurrying began again, I tried to catch the mouse in the light. But, it wasn't a mouse.
I managed to wake from my shock in time to take this photo, (good thing I'm rarely without one), before the door was shut tight, (either by the creature behind it or by the force of Guinness running into it).
Now I'm wondering, how long has that been there?
