Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?

I remember this camera. I worked ten years for the Canadian distributor of Prakitca. I visited the factory in Dresden on a side trip from the Photo-Kina show in Cologne. I think the FX3 was the last really good camera to come from Dresden. Things went downhill from that point on. Thanks for the memories.

What a terrific capture of the texture on the body and the reflection on the lens. Very well lit and an excellent photograph, Joe. Also a favorite. R
