Edinburgh's Beltane celebrations, Calton Hill.
Most of the people in this shot were naked and painted red, running and whooping around the fog enveloped hill with this giant symbol of fertility going wherever they go. Mystical and magical creatures appeared from the mist, glowing in the light of the fires and disappearing with a mischievous glint as quickly as they were seen.
Beltane is a time for fertility and new awakenenings, to celebrate sensuality, summer and life.
