I was in Hull Island on Nantasket beach last fall when temperatures were below freezing. This was a hard thing for a Southern girl like myself to take. I decided to walk the windy beach anyways. The beach front consist of pebble rock in some areas, not traditional sand. The different grain, textures and tone of the rocks entranced me. It was beautiful. Despite my frozen fingertips and yearning to get out of the cold, I told myself I had to get a shot of the spiritual like pebbles. I particularly love the center round pebble with the 2 stripe center lines.
