Recently I've been sneaking into homes, redecorating corners (or entire rooms),
documenting it, and returning the space to its previous condition. My interest in this ongoing project lies in the idea that our homes are layered. When we move, we add our stories to the new landscape, pretending that it is the only incarnation it has ever had. Our memory of home is singular, sometimes even static, and yet there may have been hundreds of people who have called that very spot "home". I am interested in colliding the possible alternative experiences of specific places, and exposing the multiplicity of the spaces we inhabit.
