Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?

The temperature today was 9° F & partly cloudy. My husband planted these Poplar trees 14 years ago and they have grown a lot during that span of time.

You have so much beauty around you with the snow and the trees, etc., I think that you lead a very peaceful life. You look great, as usual : ). It is nice to see things that we plant to grow and thrive.

Fabulous and interesting, as always. I'd love to know what that little building is behind you - cottage for rent, perhaps??!!

LOL:) No mystery behind the little building Les ...It was just a shelter for the pigs that we raised many years ago...We have most of our land in trees now but it was a hobby farm at one time.

    Andrea,
I am so impressed how much those poplar trees have grown since I last saw them last summer! I like how they show up with you in this winter scene. Blessings from Bonnie
