Cinematographer and RED One

This is me and a 4K RED HD camera. This was on location in the desert in an impending rain storm.

Cinematography is much more difficult at times than still photo because all your shots have to look consistent and the lighting has to look exact even if you shoot your characters at different times of the day, and whats more, it all has to get cut together. You also have to be concerned about audio, line flubs, actor miscues, and with 4 mins per load, you've got to be efficient with time.
Instead of one model, one light, one camera, you've got 5 actors, 4 of which are moving, and you yourself are moving dolly on a tracking shot, and you've got have the right timing with you dolly grip, your boom operator(whose Mic might dip into the shot) and your actors whose lines can get dropped. And that's not even talking about all the light sources to cover their movements. All this can get stressful so I retreat to Photo for a vacation sometimes.
