The George Paul Memorial Bull Ride in Del Rio, Texas is second only to the National Finals in Las Vegas on the CBR national televised tour. I have been in the middle of the arena for many year at the GPM. In 2008 Cooper had an 86.5 ride, 87 ride and 91 point ride on 3 bulls to win the event. He went to the finals and was only a few points from being the World Champion. This and many other action captures provided me with an invitation to a "Go anywhere pass" for the CBR which I will hopefully receive. I had been invited to the finals in Las Vegas in late Jan but due to prior commitment had to miss a dream. Maybe next year but this year I will be back in the GPM arena taking live and limb in hand and trying to get action captures. I will likely post more of Coopers great ride in the future. I usually shoot these from the ground "ants eye view" and from the middle of the arena. Always from Del Rio, Texas, Emile.
