This is a self portrait from a series I took during the dead of winter in January of 2007. All I could think about was how paralyzed by the cold I felt- instead of looking cold & harsh, however, the ice cubes came out looking warm & dreamy. I used 35 mm black & white film in my Canon AE-1 for these shots, and developed/printed them myself.
