I spotted these flower buds through the fallen leaves. I love the way the fallen branch almost appears as if it was a tree with these flowers growing on it. I did not set this up.

Actually Donald I shot this on January 20/2009 in Victoria B.C. at Royal Roads University. I spent over two hours shooting various beautiful areas in and around Hatley Castle.

I also was struck by the bright pink flowers and how the branch had fallen to make it almost appear as if it were a tree's branches and the pink flowers were blossoms on the mini tree.
Just my own personal thoughts of it.
