I am almost finished taking down my art gallery in preparation to painting the hallway. I tried to cover dings in the walls and the paint did not dry to match the color of the paint and looks terrible! Since I am repainting it I decided to go with a lighter color since this blue made the hall dark. I will do another SP when I am almost finished painting. I am using my new wide angle lens that I got for Christmas on this photo so that the whole wall shows. the hall turns at the end and is about 8' longer so I have a lot of space to hang my art work rather than it being stacked up against a wall like it was.

Blue must be your favorite color. Great SP! I can't wait to see it finished.

Yep, blue is my favorite color. As you can see, I have a lot of blue in my clothes and house : ) I am painting the hall a light tan this time.

11mm wide!! Not bad Ann. I did my shot with the Tokina 12mm. I was going to buy that 11-16mm as we may have discussed at one point in time, but I just could not justify a 5mm spread. I needed the 12-24 for more of MY type of portrait techniques. I hear nothing but GREAT things about that 11-16mm, and I am SURE you will use it well!!

Good for you! It's another big task to complete, but I'm sure it will look great! Of course, it seems like we just painted that hallway...where does the time go?

You do have a lot of wall space for your art work...The light tan paint that you decided on for the wall would be a good color background to display your art. As Ahmed stated please be careful that you don't fall...I like those long handled paint rollers that allow you to reach the high spots. The tricky part is near the ceiling.

I think you're choice for a light colour will be perfect, Ann. It will showcase your artwork brilliantly.

Sounds a good choice Ann, it will match your floor colour and should show off your paintings very well. Don't envy you the job it's a large area !!
