Gritty and grainy, this photo is at least 12 years old and a double exposure shot the old-fashioned way with film. I can remember shooting an entire roll of film hoping that one of the shots lined up the right way for the effect that i was trying to achieve. A fun experiment. I still shoot film occasionally. I have several film body cameras including an old Pentax K1000 ,a Canon AE1,and a plastic toy Pop Tart camera.

Donna, this is one of my favorites of all your posted images. It is at once simple in concept, but rich in detail. The compositonal elements are excellently arranged, the colors are well blended. The image has, I think, both strength and subtlety. Good work! john

I love your perspective on this image, Donna where you must have knelt down to shoot upward....Excellent work...Some of the older themes are very interesting that I missed out on since I was not a member that year...Thank you again for nominating me to vote on for member of the week.

Very cool photo and nicely matched up. All that work paid off well. I have a film Nikon D8008 that I use occasionally. I used to love B&W photography and working with it in the darkroom.
