During a recent visit to Old Town San Diego, my sister and I happened upon Heritage Park, a 7.8 acre county park that was established to preserve San Diego's Victorian buildings and homes that had been threatened by development in the downtown area during the '60's. Both big supporters of historical preservation, we so enjoyed exploring these beautiful buildings. The one at the highest point is Temple Beth Israel. Sure would love to see the views from those modern homes on the hilltop.

It is a treat to see old buildings restored and revered. This is gorgeous. I think it is enhanced by the low sunlight and long shadows. Lovely composition.
