Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?

Wow! This is such an interesting shot I like the way everything around you is washed out but the details in your face are so sharp and the colours fantastic!!!

The overexposure works well, it really highlights your hair, eyes and lips...nice job! I think this may have even worked better as a portrait because the space on the left seems to detract, more than contribute to the picture, in my humble opinion, Regardless nice job!
