the carpenter was over with his kid Najeeb, and i, as you would guess, was present with the camera, looking for photo opportunities :)
this one was not planned :) i was shooting after a long time with my 135mm 2.8 prime lens, so in a way, i was limiting myself focal length wise :) besides, the lens is manual-focus-only and only does Spot Metering :)
i found him looking at me from behind the window glass, while i was photographing his father :) i snapped a quick one to keep it as authentic as possible :)
since i was shooting in RAW, there were little or no concerns on my mind about how it'd look eventually... the lens was at f/8 in manual mode, i wanted sharpness and the shutter was at the safest handheld speed of 1/80s, and the resulting ISO 6400 :)
cropped it in 5:4 ratio, resized and thats it :)
i suspect that some will find it too grainy and in conflict with the rule of thirds :) but i love it for its mood, the subtle contrast as well as the moment :)
thanks for viewing :) let's see what u think :)

superb ! Forget the rules, soul is more important. Non-photographers who don't know the rules pay for the pictures anyway :-), those that move them
