I used to love my birthdays....but now I just never seem to be happy on them. In fact, I find them pretty damn depressing.

Happy birthday. You'll excuse a little analysis. Intentionally or not, that little bend at the end of your picture is quite the photographic allegory. Take a walk around the bend with your camera in hand. I suspect with your eye, you'll find lots to enthrall, enlighten and entertain, especially those of us who love your shots. Cheers.
