Doel Moet Bleiven
A nuclear plant gets built next to a tiny village outside Antwerp. Several years later and literally overnight, the villagers vanish, leaving behind sofas, beds, toys, broken windows, bicycles, cars, and even a windmill. The state claims that it bought out the villagers to allow for expansion of the port around them. A biker club drives through without impedance, but one wonders if they checked their geiger counters before racing off to the next curiosity.
