Poor Devil
Shadows of Eglise Saint Catherine loom over this unfortunate soul on the Quai aux Brics on an early Sunday morning. The disease-ridden Senne River ran through here, until the city fathers buried it and built the Albert Canal - much to the dismay of Verlaine and Baudelaire, who thought any respectable city required a river. Is it just my imagination, or does this devil resemble a Rolling Stone?
