No I did not make this creation. It was already standing when I found it, and in the Hawai'ian culture, the locals present these offerings to the gods before visiting places of beauty the gods have given them. There must have been hundreds of these all over this area. I will post the landscape pic so you can see some of them around the area. (Blow Hole, West Maui)

This is actually a offering to the Hawai'ian gods placed here by the locals before visiting parts of the Island with great Mana or spiritual power and beauty.

Bet you had to hold your breath so the rocks wouldn't fall! :-)

Actaully, I was! But it was pretty windy that day and I had some distance on it to create the depth of field. There were TONS of these all over the place, not many made of Lava rock tho. Some of which had fallen yes, but this one struck me. I have another one too that really looks like it is defying the laws of physics, but I like the color and mood in this one. The contrast of the blue sky on top of the brick red cliff in the background. Also, this particular offering was made of lava rock, and these rocks were obviously hand picked on another part of the Island and brought to this location seeing as lava rock in this form was not common in this area.
