Taken in China Town, Salinas. A forgotten city overcome by drug abuse, homelessness, mental illness, and crime. Abandoned buildings and crumbled remains dominate the street. My architecture class this quarter is working on designing low income housing on the block to help the city begin the rehabilitation of the homeless, and the connection to the city's history.
