THIS WAS TAKEN IN 2006 with my first digital camera, the Olympus E500 :)

I was watching him as he was digging in the dirt..

it was hot, and it was exhausting... but from where i saw it... from his prespective, this is what he does best... the spade is his tool, and his strong arms his friends...

he knows he has to go back home by the evening...where his children await to greet him... he knows he must work hard and fight the odds... to be able to return to his kids, with a smile on his face...

he is trying hard, because he knows that 'if you havent tried, then you haven't lived'...
