Fairy dust is everywhere, you just have to look for it.
Believe it or not this photo is almost un-edited. The light that was used to catch this fairy dust is natural sunlight streaming through a window. Because the air is so still behind the window the light 'fairy dust' particles hover in suspension - there is no special effect here.
