Although the forest here in Quebec is very beautiful, if one goes too deeply into it, particularly alone, one can get lost,,,that is the meaning of this picture ,,,,,beautiful but the darkness portrays danger at the same time......

Very interesting I made a comment before you titled or wrote an explanation of this picture...yes, we often idealize nature, but we have to remember to respect it as well...your perspective in using this photograph to portray both sides of that adds a wonderful layer of complexity for the viewer (me!) to consider.

It has a very ominous mood, but the woods are almost compelling. My curiosity wants to go deeper, but my common sense says not to go there. I love the emotional response. Very beautifully artistic.
