Stupid White Sky
Can't be helped really. Polarize to your heart's content, add an ND if you'd like, a bland sky is a bland sky is a...
Photoshop could put in a whole new sky, but then it wouldn't be much fun either.
I was glad to see they finally put up some barriers here to keep people from experiencing gravity's greatest thrill, though the barriers are only 18 inches high, which still allows for natural selection to weed out those who should leave no descendants.
This area is named after the Timber Wolves who once dug their dens into the banks of this bend. The flat land in left/center was used by native americans for thousands of years before other native americans, the Senecas, discovered they were as easy to wipe out as Timber Wolves.
The Indian name of this park translates (loosely) into "Now that you're all dead, this land is ours" A tradition carried forward by "white" settlers years later.
Or so the story goes.
