I'm amazed they have to tell people this, but they do.
The barrier they're talking about is easily stepped over.
I'm sure eventually they'll have to put a 6 ft. stone wall.

If you had any guts you would've got closer! There is a great waterfall near my home which I've posted (in Paterson, NJ). When I was a kid you could go right up to the edge, scary as anything. However, after a few incidents, a large fence (not conducive to photography) was put up. I would much rather like a sign such as this one!

Oh yeah, that's me...totally gutless and alive to prove it. ; ) The bad thing about this particular ledge is that it is an overhang, so someopne on the edge of this would get to play "Wile E. Coyote" from the roadrunner cartoons.
