This is our national bird, They nest in the cliff's to have their young and in the winter they live out in the Sargasso Sea off Bermuda. When you spot them it is like ground hog day spirng is here.

To Diana, yes the water is making them look blue, they are white with black markings and orange beaks. Good eye!

Tori, we have two very similar sea birds here in Hawaii - White-tailed Tropicbird & Red-tailed Tropicbird. So beautiful to see them in flight. I am sure now, but some used to nest in the Halemaumau Crater, but it erupted violently about fourteen month ago. Hawaii's Big Island

Hi Tori - Gorgeous photo of these truly beautiful birds. I've been lucky enough to see them, as we lived in Bermuda in 1994/5, and I'll never forget how thrilled I was when they finally arrived over the Great Sound. As I have just found JPG when I Googled "Bermuda longtails", I owe you many thanks on both counts!
