Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?

A: Do you know?

I am used to birds flying away from me. Today I went out to the wetlands and these American Avocets kept flying straight at my face, playing chicken and then zooming by at the last minute! Hope you don't get bored, but I actually got quite a few great captures (If I do say so myself) of these guys!!! :)
