hyde park. sydney.
i love this little spot. what made it even better was i got to take fellow jpg'er and international traveller Gail Anderson there. that morning i made a comment that everything looks different with a camera in your hand. even your own street. i saw a totally different sydney again with my holga that day. we also talked about how its always interesting to see how people shoot the same subject. to see just how they see it. we both shot this spot and came out with such contrasting results. i love that. LOVE.

here is Gails'. image. i wish i caught the sun like she had now. it was such a beautiful day. thats cool though. i got some bright and sunny shots that day too. but, im happy with this one now. thats what i mean.... standing in the shadows when i shot this, this is how i saw it.

yep, my holga too.

gail carries a little sunlight with her all the time and breaks it out when no one is looking. I found this out after discovering she has perfect lighting all the time...

Cool that you and Gail shot the same scene. Your shots are very different and I really like both. In your shot here, I like how you focused on the chess board and the light and shadows. I fell like it is my move. LOL
