Very few people are aware of the complex system of drainage and irrigation piping that exists below the surface of a beautifully maintained golf course. The amount of piping needed varies as much as the design of each course. The one Fred (my husband) is currently working on near Siena will end up using about 30,000 feet of drainage piping which equals about six miles. I captured this shot of rigid PVC while touring the progress of the Bagnaia Golf Course.
