Captured these surly looking guys in Piazza Salimbeni, one of my favorite squares in the Tuscan city of Siena. If you look in the upper corner of my previous pic you can see some of the carved heads that run along the top of the one building. Wish I could say who these fellows represent, but as of yet don't know.

    They look so life like...Apparently they were well known individuals in their life that they are now immortalized after death as carved heads on a building.
