Me and my husband have been to Bordi, a small town on the bank of the Arabian Sea, Maharashtra, India several times. But each visit is refreshing for us. The weekly market (vegetable, clothes, other household items etc.,) for the local tribal community is a sight of pleasure. The Chickoo cultivation all around the place, the dilapidated or abandoned bunglows built mostly by the Parsi community take you back to the history. The evening cool waves of the Arabian Sea throws a soothing sight. The silence at night somehow takes out the tiredness. May be that's why we call Bordi our second home.
