I captured this gentlemen last summer on the ferry while I was heading home in Istanbul, Turkey. It is normally a 25 min. journey to cross from European side to the Anatolian side. He stood all the way and watched the sea with his dark skin and tired look. I found his existence pretty inspiring.
This happens to be one of my favorite portraits.
