    While 1 is the stonger portrait of the person, this one is stonger about the person and the purpose. I vote this one. Well done and great job on both.

    In my humble opinion I think I like this better because you see him in his surroundings which seem to be an important part of the story.

    Either portrait is a winner. He has the same light in this one, but I find the objects in the picture more distracting from his face. They tell an eloquent story though. Wonderful.

    I really love the way he's looking at you. Ypu've resisted the urge to make him look strange or feeble. The way he is looking at you is just SO normal.

    i love them both. however, i like the surroundings in this. tells a bit more of the story.
