This shot was taken along the same wall as the photo below..... I turned the flash on for this shot!! Looks like two totally different places, don't you think??

I like this one the best but did you say you turned the flash "on" for this. Looks like it was off. I love the colors, shapes and light in this so much better. Excellent, Maurie!

Yes, it's on.... look at the rock pile in the lower right hand corner... When I had the flash on it lit everything close by.... these formations were quite a distance from me, so it made them darker. Thanks for the comments!!!

Maurie the other image was more golden as this one has a more red colouring....due to the extra light. Think I prefer the other one . Although this one has magic properties, like its lit by hidden fires.....What a place,,,,,,all 'mites, and 'tites!!

Both shots are awesome but I think this is my favorite. I like the detail in the other but the mystery in this one.

I really like the extra splash of light at the top right (almost like a Touch By An Angel halo effect). Since I get the willies and am claustrophobic, I prefer the other shot...but this one is nicely captured.

I see everyone has their faves of the two as do I. I like this one best. Great work!

This is my fave too - with it being darker overall, the subtle lighting of the vertical tower-looking formation really ads some interest. Plus it adds the only ‘color’ other than red to this shot – also a definite plus! (Maybe a bunch of blue gel on the front of your flash – enough to knock the strength down so that it could add come ‘cool’ color would have made a this even more eerie????) Nice one Maurie!

How bizarre that the other shot would have more light than this one with the flash. The other is my fav because the details are so incredible. This one is gorgeous as well....such interesting formations!
