Andrea uses beautiful umbrellas in her photos so I thought I would take her lead and try using one also.
It's a beautiful day today. It is very warm but the humidity is down so it is not half bad to be outside. It would be fantastic if our summers stayed just like this, but that's not going to happen! There is more than one way to shade my face. I have a beautiful umbrella that my friend Lana gave me for my birthday one year. She knows that I love the color blue and butterflies. I am standing among my Rangoon Creeper vine that is in full bloom. The blooms are three different shades of pinks and look like shooting stars.

I love umbrellas... they are not only useful but they make good props for photographs. Your flowers look gorgeous too ..Wonderful self portrait and I am noticing Ann that you have lost weight since you started these self portraits and you are looking very good.

This is a beautiful SP....love the umbrella and the vine is unbelievably gorgeous. I guess all that heat and humitidy is really good for the plants down there, just not for the people, huh?
