And why take ye thought for raiment?
Consider the "lilies of the field, how they grow, they toil not, neither do they spin....Matthew 6: 28
Irises grace empty space
With tender regard;
Some dug from the home place
Spent 30 years in our yard.
Purple Irises grew wild
By old house that burned;
Where the folks lost a young child...
Other family have since gone
To join little brother beyond,
Whilst' the flowers return
Giving raiment to earth
Each spring in rebirth.
Poetry by me AJP
The rain shower we had yesterday brought forth two blooms so far from our Wild Irises. We should get more later.
