Manhattan, NY (Downtown 2-Train)
NYC is an aggregate of hallucinations, particularly in the late hours of the evening. The funny thing is, I was listening to the Talking Heads (seriously, I kid you not) when this serene woman, a stylist, walked onto the train and took a seat across from me.
She said it took her forty-five minutes to do the mannequin's hair, and with a sly grin, offered to do mine. Bald as a melon, I passed on the opportunity.
