Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?

A: Do you know?

This is one of a series of photos taken from the Loup Canal, located in Genoa, Nebraska. This is one of my favorite locations for photos. Old cars were lined when the canal was created to stop erosion. Nature took it's course and these cars became a permanet fixture. I love to go to this location at different times of the year. This image was captured in November of 2008.
