This was the weekend of her 8th grade dance. Following a week of getting into work at 6:30 a.m. so I could get out earlier and bake and help decorate the gym and finally, help her get ready, I found myself an emotional fool watching my child as she entered through her school doors looking more like a woman than ever before.
