In the weeks leading up to the mission this Soldier was about to head out on, military police in the 34th Military Police Company of the 34th Infantry Division were hit with improvised explosive devices (IED) almost every day. This Soldier took a moment to pray for his and his Soldiers' safety. I remember when I took this; it gave me chills just seeing him there and knowing what he was praying for and why. Soldiers pray before missions, but I rarely see Soldiers pray openly like this. It was definitely an inspiring moment, and you should be proud to hear that all Soldiers made it home that night safely.
