This photo is not even a little bit staged. I was traveling with a high ranking Iraqi officer and this boy, his son, was his body guard. If what I'm told is true, and I see no reason it wouldn't be, the boy took over for his older brother who was killed in an attempt on his father's life. It's been over a year since I've seen the kid. I sure hope he's well.
