I found this window about 5 miles from home in southern Colorado. This rock formation seemed unique to me, with a penile projection above this window, very like a fertility site. I mentioned this find to an archeologist friend and he confirmed the impression of fertility. Though he's never seen the site he's heard of references to it from local Ute and Apache elders, and that it was used as recently as 200 years ago. Looking through the 3x4 foot window one can see spruce growing on the far hillside across Alder Creek.
