A young Malawian girl cries in the lap of a World Camp volunteer after missing one of the precious few meals that Yossa Orphanage can afford to provide each week.
Malawi has over one million AIDS orphans. Though orphaned children often find shelter with extended family, they are at the bottom of the family hierarchy - they are the last to eat, drink, receive clothing or get an education, leaving them greatly disadvantaged and frequently malnourished.
