George - Gerald Durrell, the author and ethologist, moved with his mother, sister and brother to Corfu during WWII to escape the German occupation in England. His memoirs are some of the best books I've ever read. They are full of humor and wonderful descriptions of your island. Perhaps you will read them sometime. I would love to see more photos of Corfu. Thank you.
