Fighting for space???....
at least I think that's what they are doing :) She seems to be interested in nothing but eating .... My flash did not fire, but thought is was a cool looking shot anyway !

Really a neat picture...and unusual...Maybe it was meant for the flash not to go off....Wonderful lighting for the background to be light in contrast to the two bird silhouettes.

I agree with Susan above - not having the flash fire was a GOOD thing! (That's one of those lame Canon camera problems though....flash doesn't fire when you want it. You'll not have that problem with a Nikon! OOPS! Did I just say that? OMG, I've let the angry dogs out now!) I'm just kidding around all you Canon fans!

Yes, they are. From what I've seen hummingbirds are very territorial, and are always fighting for who "owns" the feeder. Happens in my hummingbird feeder all the time. Nice shot by the way.
