Bless this sweet little donkey's soul. She and this adorable foal have struck up a new friendship. They romp together, nuzzle each other, and obviously have a sweet relationship. The donkey was kicked by a jack when young. This is the way it healed. She walks around with her head down at this awkward angle all the time, but her eyes show NO pain. In fact, they are some of the most gentle and peaceful eyes you will ever see. She is as gentle as a lamb and seems quite content hanging out with gypsy horses.

Linda, I live just a few miles of several hundred feral donkey (asses). Search 'ass' above on the right. Donkeys/asses do have lovely eyes. Sweet capture!
