Q: How do you favorite a photo?

A: Do you know?

she must have been thinking about her family back in Punjab when i took this shot...

child labor is a serious issue. and when i see abida working, i feel bad.

despite being a kid herself, she has to look after two kids... she gets scolded, humiliated and occasionaly recieves beatings also...

who says slavery is over? its not.

her parents, out of poverty, have sent her to Sindh province to work, so that they may sustain themselves..

i did not convert it to monochrome to make her look more sympathetic... instead, i just removed the colors, simply because there aren't any in her life anyway.

Far and Away, she misses her family, her home and her three friends, her lambs...
