Groovy Calcata
Throughout the medieval Italian village of Calcata are splashes of the 60's, such as this door. Some of the 100 inhabitants (most very artsy) of this unique village feel the place holds a special creative force. The Falicans, a pre-Roman people, had used the mountain the town sits on as a sacred ritual site.
In the Calcata photo essay.
