On June 29th 2009 I decided to use my newly acquired Nikon D60 to shoot the skyline from Weehawken.
I have already been there twice and knew what the skyline looks like, facing midtown and its skyscrapers.
However there are a few things I couldn't predict, like this intense blue atmosphere before the sunset and the fact that on that very same day the Empire State building would be decorated with white and blue (the ESB lighting colors change everyday). This, to me, brings a certain harmony to the photo.
